 About the show 

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kind hearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.

CHAPTER 04:- TANJIRO DAIRY: PART ONE (THAT BLADE, AWAITS IT'S CROSSING)

DEMON KILLING SWORDSMAN :-Demon killing swordsman is reffering to DEMON KILLING CROPS. There numbers are around a few hundered. Is an organization that is not acknowledged by the goverment. However, they still exist and continue to kill Demons. Nobody knows who is leading this gang of demon hunters. Still shrouded in mystery. The demon killing corps fights the demons with their mortal flesh and blood. Due to them being humans their injuries recover slow and lost limbs will never regrow. Even so, they still fight the demons for humanity.

DEMON:- Main source of food of demons is humans. They kill humans and then consume theeir flesh. When they were first born or where they came from is still unkown. They have powerful physical abilities and even when injured, they are able to immediately heal themselves. Body parts hacked off will still have some sort of connetion and they are able to grow completely new arms and legs. There also exist demons that have the incredible ability to change their body structure. If one does not use a blade of special quality, even after chopping the demon's head off, the demon will not die.

Urokodaki told tanjiro that he is a "cultivator", as word describes he cultivate swordsman. "There are a lot of cultivators who cultivate swordsman with a variety of techniques in a variety of places" urokodaki said to tanjiro. If he wants to enter the demon killing corps then he must survive in the " FINAL SELECTION" on " FUJIKASANEYAMA" and urokodaki get decide either tanjiro are allowed to enter the "FINAL SELECTION". 

Tanjiro decide to write a dairy for Nezuko. Tanjiro starts his training in mountain. He was slowly able to avoid the traps from descending the mountain repeatedly everyday, his stamina was not the only thing that increased his nose is able to detect smells even swifter than before. However the difficulty of the traps began to slowly increase and are filled with a heavy stench of killing intent.

Next day tanjiro took his blade with him to descend the mountain and this is really going to be annoying. "If my hands where empty then i would get tangled with the traps" tanjiro says. 

Next day, tanjiro trying to swing his sword. However compared to today, it's more like he is swinging my sword everyday recently. After descending the mountain i still continue to use my drop dead tired hands to swing repeatedly. In the beginning urokodaki told him as well that the blade is easily snapped, even though the force of the strike of swinging vertically is strong, The force of swinging horizontally is very weak. When using a blade, one must swing along with the blade, the position of the blade and the direction one applies the force to swinging the blade must be exactly the same. Also, blades can be worn down as well which means that if his blade snaps, his bones will snap as well. That's the slight threat that he got from urokodaki anyways.

Next day, today is a wrestling festival. A trainig devised to allow him to get up quickly no matter what position he fell to the ground. Tanjiro held his blade and swing it at urokodaki-sensei. Urokodaki-sensei uses only his hands, without any weapons. "He's really strong i always fall to the ground after being flung out. 

Today he practiced breathing and positions to do it in. Urokodaki got angry on him due to not putting in strenght towards his abdomen and started slapping his stomach. Also, Nezuko has lost consciousness for almost half a year.

Even though urokodaki-san asked for a doctor for a diagnosis immediately, there weren't any signs of irregularity but the fact that she continued to sleep itself shows that something is irregular. "I'm afraid that she would wake one morning and die just like that" tanjiro thinks. Tanjiro training of the mountain needs to be conducted in more dangerous and more oxygen lacking places. He thought a bunch of times that he was going to die there. "I don't have anything more to teach you" urokodaki said to tanjiro. A year after he arrived at narrow mist mountain, he suddenly said this. Urokodaki told him " from now on you're going to have to prove yourself, see if you can improve yourself upon the basics i have taught you". He also told him "If you are able to hack this rock in half then i will allow you to join the FINAL SELECTION". 

Tanjiro thought that is that even able to be hacked apart?. He also thought " can i do it with a blade?, i don't think i can do it, the blade will snap". From that moment on urokodaki-san didn't teach him anything anymore. He continued to practice the things he learned from urokodaki-sensei every day. Jotting down basic things like holiding his breath and flexibility training, in his notebook helped a lot. 

Though even after half a year he still wasn't able to hack apart the rock. He was getting anxious. " I can't do it?, nezuko will maintain her current state and die just like that?" tanjiro talk with himself. He getting depressed and thinking about giving up. " I need to work harder!! work harder!!!" tanjiro talk to himself. Suddenly someone scold on him " Shut up!".

A fox like mask wearing boy are setting over the rock and holding a woodden sword in his hand. "Such a shamefur dispray of a man shouting nonsense" fox mask said to him. "When did he appear!?, no smell, fox mask " Tanjiro shocked. Fox mask-man said "no matter how difficult and painful it may be, you shut your mouth and deal with it, if you call your self a man if you are a true man" and suddenly he attack on tanjiro with woodden sword and kick him. He said "slow, weak, rusty, your state is not a man by any definition".

Is he human or beast or a monster? a fox advocating male chauvinis'm.

Chapter 03 :- I WILL RETURN BEFORE DAWN

The mask man revealed himself as " Urokodaki sakonji", the man by whom swordsman talk about. When urokodaki find a  note send by tomioka in which  tamioka says that 

"I've sent a young man who wishes to become a demon killing swordsman on his way to meet youhis family was all brutally slaughtered by a demon. He was corage, and he dares to challenge me with only his bare hands. His family brutally slaughtered by a demon. Only his sister survived being turned into a demon. Thought i believe that she wouldn't harm humans. I fell that there is something different about those two that sets them apart from others. That young man a particularly good sense of smell just like you. I can't say for sure but he might be able to make a "break through" and "Inherit" your work. Please train him well. I realize my request is selfish and brash, and i hope that you will be able to forgive me of it. Please take care of yourself, and i hope for the best for youe effort. Once again i must beseech you. My endless gratitude.

"Then how is one supposed to kill a demon" tanjiro ask urokodaki. " Don't ask other people. you have a brain right? so use it." he told him. Then tanjiro think to crush demon face with a stone. Tanjiro takes a stone and ready to smash demon's head but he is overflowing with empathy which is making him hesitate. By seeing tanjiro Urokodaki feels that he still smell the scent of kindness coming off of him even while they are in front of a demon. Urokodaki thinks " he is still sympathetic towards demons ".

On other hand demon feels terrible because he unable to feel anything over on other side which is his body , he thinks that his body is already dead. Suddenly tanjiro realising the sun is start rising as we know the demons are burn in the presence of sunlight. The demon turned into asses after falling light of a sun on his head or body.

Tanjiro see all of that by standing there but suddenly realise about the mask man. He sees that Urokodaki giving all of those victims a proper burial. After few minutes urokodaki turns towards him and tell him " i'm Urokodaki sakonji and you are the one that Giyu wanted to introduced to me?'. Tanjiro answer "Yes" and then introduce himself and her sister to him. Urokodaki ask one question to Tanjiro that " what will you do if your sister wats a human?", Tanjiro get hesitated for a moment and suddenly urokodaki slap him.

"you are too hesitate on everything. You didn't even manage to kill the demon before morning. You also could not answer my question immediately, do you know why?. This is because your resolve is too shallow. If your sister eats a human there are two things needed to be done. Kill your sister and then slit your own stomach. This is the kid of resolve needed in bringing your sister along with you. But remember this well, this situation is something that can never be allowed to happen. Letting your sister take an innocent person's life is something that can never be allowed to happen. Do you understand what my words mean?" Urokodai says to Tanjiro. Tanjiro reply " I understand!!". Urokodaki says " well then it's time for me to test if you're able to become a damon killing swordsman". Then urokodaki ordered him to hoist his sister onto his back and follow him .

Then tanjiro start follow him and reach where he wanted to be. Tanjiro's breathing very fast because on follow him he was couldn't match the pace as like urokodaki. He is very fast even he is only walking on there way but tanjiro has to be run to reach there destination by follow urokodaki.

After control his breathing he ask Urokodaki that did he pass the test but urokodaki says " the test has just begun, follow me up the mountain".

Tanjiro get so tired he barely able to move his legs and his head is spinning too. "From here you will descend the mountain to where my house is at the bottom. This time i won't be waiting until dawn" urokodaki told him and suddenly get disappear. Tanjiro thought he have to only walk from mountain to the house but he is wrong and suddenly his leg contact with robe and many rocks come flying at him and hit him . After that he walk little bit further but fall down in a hole. Somehow he can able to getting up through that hole towards outside but suddenly he press a thread again. He fell for it again.

If he keep falling into trape like this he won't be able to reach the bottom of the mountain before dawn." The air here is so thin!!, it's far thinner than the air of the mountain i've lived on before. So this is why it's so hard for me to breathe and why my head spinning" Tanjiro think. Tanjiro realize all of things here and then he adjust his breathing and use his nose carefully to smell out the traps Because the traps of human designs do indeed have a distinct scent. He recoginize that thing even so he couldn't avoide all of the traps.

After few hours urokodaki hear some sound outside his house and suddenly someone open the door and here tanjiro made it through mountain to the house after avoiding all the traps he finally made it."I've recognized your abilities KAMADO TANJIRO" urokodaki says to tanjiro.

Chapter 02 :- A PERSON UNKNOWN

After incounter with a swordsman, Tanjiro looking for a man named "Urokodaki". Tanjiro requested some people to give him some of the bamboo basket and straws. Due to kindness of Tanjiro he also pay the price of bamboo basket even after lady refuses to pay for that bamboo basket. After bought bamboo basket he is run towards the cave where nezuko is staying and protect by sunlight because demons are burn in the light of the sun. Tanjiro having shocked because nezuko is missing but wait there is a pit under the cave. Tanjiro call nezuka and nezuko appear in that pit. Tanjiro say to nezuko to stay there for a little bit and doing something with that bamboo basket and straws and thinking about nezuko that she really want to stay away from sunlight thats why she digging a hole there.

Tanjiro told her to hop in the basket beacuse they have to travel in a day and he wants to carry her and somehow protect her from sunlight, but nezuko has really grown up a lot , then nezuko uses his some demon skill and shrik herself to get fit in the basket.

Tanjiro asked a women a way to find urokodaki but the way is much bigger then think. After sky getting black and after appear the moon he find a small cabin.

 Looks like there are people here but after reaching near that cabin he smells a blood and open the door quickly to see the matter but he getting shocked after seeing a demon there and some bodies, maybe they all are the person who use to live here but they all  was dead already and the demon eating the parts of their bodies are sitting near them.

After seeing Tanjiro and Nezuko man-eating demon got angry because they disturbing demon to having his dinner. Suddenly demon see them and ask them " Are you human ?" and jump towards Tanjiro in a blink of an eye. Tanjiro also a very fast person but not much faster then a demon. Demon attack on Tanjiro but tanjiro having axe in his hand and without any time lost he wave his axe and cut the part of demon's neck. Demon having wound in his neck but he still standing and laughing. Demon blood are already stopped. However, trifling little wound such as these will heal almost immediately and demon told tanjiro all of that thing already. In other hand nezuko is sweating after seeing that much blood. Demon attack tanjiro again and grab his neck and take him to the ground " and now i'm going to break your head off from your neck " demon told  tanjiro. But that enormous strenght of demon don't let him to move his body at all, But here is his sister who converted into demon, nezuko kick the head of the demon and demon's head is fall far from demon's body .

 Tanjiro shocks for a moment beacuse her sister kill the man-eating demon in one kick but wait demon is still alive, his hand is still moving and want's to grab tanjiro again but nezuko kick demon body apart from tanjiro. Demon is still alive although his body and neck apart from each other demon is still talking , his head fell off but his body is still moving around. Demon is in a shock for a moment because why would a demon be traveling together with a human ?!. Demon's body is getting up and attack the nezuko and tanjiro swing his axe agin to stop the demon but Demon head are moving too and grap the iron part of the axe with his teeth and stop the swing of the axe.

 Tanjiro trying to stop demon's head and hit the demon with his head very hardly and show the demon that he is also a very tough guy. Somehow tanjiro able to get back her axe and then swing again on demon's head and pinned the demons head between the tree and the axe handle.

 Tanjiro run towards nezuko where nezuko get involved with demon's body. Suddenly tanjiro grab the demon's body and take him to the chasm which is near them. But nezuko catch the hand of tanjro somehow , but demon's body is fall down.

 Tanjiro realize that there are lot of demon's out there that demon is not the only one and realize the scent of that demon which is not be similar the scent of the demon which was in his old house. Tanjiro take his knife to cut the demon's head but a mysterious hand behind him is stop him .Tanjiro turn around to see him and that mysterious man wearing a tengu mask told Tanjiro that you would not be able to kill it with that kind of a thing.

Chapter 01:- CRUELTY

A young boy, Tanjiro Kamado, carries a visibly-wounded, unconscious girl through a snowy path on his back. This girl is revealed to be his younger sister, Nezuko Kamado. Tanjiro treks frantically through the snow and begs her to stay alive, vowing he would save her.

The scene cuts to a flashback of events that had occurred the day before. As the New Year arrives, Tanjiro intends to go to town and sell some charcoal in order to have enough food on the table for the holiday. His younger siblings, Hanako Kamado and Shigeru Kamado, overhear him and beg to go as well, but their mother sternly refuses, saying they would only cause him trouble. Tanjiro calls out to his younger brother, Takeo Kamado, and asks him to chop the firewood while he's away, much to the latter's disappointment as he hints that he wanted to chop wood with his older brother.

Tanjiro bids farewell to his mother and siblings as they remind him to stay safe. As he sets off, he runs into Nezuko who is rocking the youngest child, Rokuta Kamado, to sleep. She mentions their younger siblings' attachment to Tanjiro, and they depart.

As Tanjiro arrives in the town, everyone is delighted to see him and immediately call him over to buy some of his charcoal. One of the villagers cries out to Tanjiro and asks him to take a whiff of a broken vase to figure out who the culprit was. The boy's keen sense of smell is able to detect that it was a cat at fault and not the villager who was being held responsible for it.

As the sun begins to set, Tanjiro begins his journey home. However, as he begins to ascend the mountain, he is stopped by an elder by the name of Saburo. The man forbids him from going back to the mountains as the sky was turning dark. Tanjiro tells him not to worry as his nose can quickly smell out danger, but Saburo insists he take refuge in his house for the night in case of a Demon attack; Tanjiro finally gives in to the persistent man. Although he dismisses Saburo's words, he remembers that his grandmother said something similar about Demons before she passed away.

Once the sun rises, Tanjiro makes his way back but suddenly smells blood when he nears his home. The first thing he sees is a bloodied Nezuko holding Rokuta lying on the snowy ground. Terrified, he goes to check the house and is shocked to see the ransacked building and bloody mess, everyone in his family presumably dead. As Nezuko is the only one with warmth in her body, Tanjiro hurriedly carries her on his back to see a doctor.

On the way down, Nezuko starts to come to life. She tries to bite her brother with her fangs, but Tanjiro is able to block the attack with his axe handle. Many questions emerge in Tanjiro's mind as he wonders if Nezuko was a Demon and killed their family, despite being born human. He deduces that she did not kill them as she had a different scent from the individual who attacked his family.

As his sister pins him down and her body and strength grow, Tanjiro suddenly feels guilt and remorse for not being there for his family, and even more so for his sister, unable to save her from becoming a Demon. He feels that the new Demon blood would overpower Nezuko and tries to prevent her from taking him as her first victim.

Tanjiro starts attempting to appeal to what is left of his sister's humanity, encouraging her to stop and do her best to hold the Demon blood back. Eventually, she ceases her struggle and starts to cry; upon seeing his sister's tears, Tanjiro cries as well.

Suddenly, a man strikes at Nezuko. Tanjiro rolls himself and Nezuko away to avoid the attack. The katana-wielding man asks why Tanjiro was protecting a Demon. Although Tanjiro tells him that Nezuko is his sister, the man insists on killing her. Tanjiro begs and reasons that Nezuko has not killed and will not kill anyone, and he will find a cure for her. Angrily, the swordsman goes on a tirade, telling Tanjiro that he was too weak to protect himself, let alone his sister. However, deep down, the swordsman feels slightly guilty as he arrived too late to prevent Tanjiro's family from being killed.

While Tanjiro is left forlorn, the swordsman stabs Nezuko in the chest, causing her great pain. Tanjiro immediately throws a rock at him and charges. The man becomes angry over what was merely an emotionally-charged attack. He knocks Tanjiro out cold but notices that he was not carrying his axe. He looks up into the sky and nearly dodges a falling axe attack. Through this carefully-planned assault by the young boy, the swordsman becomes aware of Tanjiro's resolve to protect his sister, sacrificing even his own life in order to save her from him.

While the swordsman is distracted, Nezuko rushes to Tanjiro's motionless body. The swordsman curses for letting his guard down, expecting Nezuko to devour her brother. However, Nezuko instead defends her unconscious brother, using her own body to shield him. The swordsman recalls there was a person who once said their Demon-turned relative would not eat anyone, but in the end, the person was eaten by that very Demon. Demons high up in the mountains would even eat their parents and siblings if they were hungry, but the Demon in front of him did not eat her brother and even defended him, despite her already-starving condition. She charges at the swordsman and he sheathes his sword. Feeling that she was different from other Demons, he knocks her out instead of killing her.

As he is unconscious, Tanjiro dreams that his dead mother and siblings were surrounding him. His mother apologizes for leaving him and tells him that she will be entrusting Nezuko to his care. Tanjiro wakes up with tears in his eyes, and Nezuko, with a bamboo muzzle in her mouth to rein her fangs, laid unconscious but alive beside him.

The swordsman appears behind a tree and asks them to look for an elder named Sakonji Urokodaki, who lives at the foot of Sagiri Mountain, and to tell him that Giyu Tomioka sent them. Before disappearing, he advises Tanjiro to not bring his sister out in the sun.

After Giyu's departure, Tanjiro buries the dead members of his family beside their house while Nezuko looks on. The Kamado siblings take each others' hands and starts on their journey to look for Sakonji.
